MSI Production, Facilities and Scalability
MSI manufacturing facilities are strategically located in Taiwan and China . Each facility serves the market needs for MSI and the top tier system manufacturers that employ MSI products to make their systems.
MSI headquarters is located in Jung-He city, a suburb of Taipei , Taiwan . MSI's current monthly capacity stands at 2,100K/month for motherboards, 900K/month for VGA, 600K/month for Slim PC and Barebone systems, and 1,100K/month for Optical Storage Devices. In recent years, MSI has aggressively expanded into mainland China to meet the needs of our global customers. In the first quarter of 2001, the Baoan Plant in Shenzhen started production, vastly increasing MSI's production output as well as revenue. Aside from the Baoan Plant in Shenzhen, MSI has also established production facilities and a research and development center in Kunshan , China in 2003. The motherboard annual production is expected to reach 21 million units and the annual VGA production is expected to reach 9 million units. Combined with the production from Taiwan , MSI is now becoming one of the biggest motherboard and add-on card manufacturer in the world.

With an eye on mainland China 's swiftly growing market, MSI has set up Kunshan Microteck Computer, which is responsible for global RMA service. MSI is thus able to keep its pulse on the global market, providing swift, responsive service to our distributors and customers.
